Carnival is a great family-style Mediterranean (Lebanese) restaurant that's perfect for a group dinner. I went with a few of my colleagues and we were all very pleased with both the food and service. We started with the combination appetizer platter which comes with hummus, baba ghanoug, tabouli, and is topped with falafel balls. It's great for sharing and getting a sample of two of the most popular spreads. The falafel were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The main dishes come with two sides: either French fries or rice and soup or salad. We chose the Carnival combination which came with one skewer each of chicken breast, lamb, and kafta (ground meat). The skewers were all delicious, they all had a nice char flavor and the chicken and lamb were super juicy. The fries were lightly fried, crispy, and thick cut. The salads and vegetables were all super fresh. I really appreciate the excellent service we got. Our waitress was very nice and made recommendations for our dinner. I would definitely come back with more family and friends.

Celebrated Cinco de Mayo here and I was so glad we went here. The place is decorated so beautifully. The service was amazing. Our server very attentive, explained the drinks and menu and was very attentive. The food was amazing. Not your traditional Mexican but I loved all the different flavors and dishes.

Was craving some good old shawarma and had to stop by! Love how they remodeled the place! The food, as always, is excellent! I ordered the shawarma plate and honestly this place does it the best. It's fresh it's clean and taste sooooo good! I came by for lunch Saturday and it was super busy, but the staff did a great job catering to everyone's needs.

My friend and I have been wanting to try this neighborhood staple for quite sometime and finally got the chance on a Wednesday around 5:30PM. We were able to be seated right away but surprisingly, but the time we were leaving 2 hours later, the place was mostly full. Our waitress was above and beyond. She was very friendly and brought an extra falafel ball since the combo appetizer only comes with 3 and the two of us were sharing it. She also brought garlic sauce and extra pita without issue. I highly recommend the combo appetizer as the baba ganoush, hummus, and falafel were delicious!!! Comes with pita bread for dipping of course. We also tried the lamb and beef schwarma dinner plate. We got it with fries and Arabic salad. The fries are perfect- made from real potatoes. Ask for garlic sauce on the side, which is made from just garlic and little olive oil. The meal and service were great. Not gonna lie, was dehydrated and reeked of garlic all night, but I have to say it was worth it regardless.

I've been eating her for years and it's a gem tucked away in a shopping center in Sherman oaks. The food is consistent and absolutely fantastic. I really haven't had a shawarma like they serve here. A mix of lamb and beef that is just so flavorful. The inside has that middle eastern vibe you want and expect from Lebanese food like this place. They have good service and it's a great place for families. The portions are large and I always get the same thing : beef/lamb shawarma with fries crispy and the Arabic salad. You really can't go wrong with this place no matter what you order. It's comfort food and they just never fail. They have a friendly staff and you gotta love the sides of radish, olive and peppers they give you when you order. Try the hummus fool, lentil salad, kefta or specials that they have you won't be dissaponted.

I really don't understand how Carnival isn't at minimum 4.5/5 stars. Whenever I go down to LA, eating here is a MUST!! The portions are HUGE! I always have leftovers, every single time! Middle Eastern food is my absolute favorite. And this Lebanese restaurant does not disappoint! I ordered the shrimp dinner, which came with soup or salad (I went with their delicious lentil soup) and french fries. The jumbo shrimp on the shrimp skewers are ENORMOUS! You don't really see shrimp that big in the United States because most restaurants are too cheap. But at Carnival, they're generous with BIG A$$, jumbo shrimp! I'm here for it and all about it! So much flavor and the char is perfect! Not to mention their french fries are some of the best in the game! Service is great as well! Staff are incredibly helpful and the head chef walks around and greets everyone table to table! As far as ambiance is concerned, I love the environment at Carnival. This restaurant is frequented by Israelis, Arabs, Persians, and more. I love the diversity of people that eat here and it makes for a fun atmosphere. A++++
